‘Regular customer’ shot twice in back inside NYC bodega

A man was shot during a fight inside an East Harlem deli Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old was shot twice in the back when shots rang out at the Gourmet Deli on Madison Avenue and East 111th Street around 4:30 p.m., police and employees said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital where he was expected to survive the attack, according to officials.

A bodega worker named Marad, who said he did not witness the shooting, told The Post over the phone that the unidentified victim was a “regular customer.”

Cops were at the scene two blocks from Central Park reviewing security footage as they looked for the gunman Saturday evening, he said.
