Inside Cardi B’s new home: No it’s not in NYC, it’s in New Jersey

Cardi B revealed earlier this month that she has officially moved into her dream home in the city of New York.

The only issue? It’s in New Jersey.

The artist, a native New Yorker, took to Instagram on Nov. 2 to share with her fans the news that she had purchased a freshly constructed home.

“These days I don’t just live [in] one place, I’m everywhere due to my work. One thing for sure: I needed a home in my home city of NY!” wrote Cardi B, 29, in the caption

“Me and my husband have always dreamed of having a crib in NY, and we have decided to add to our portfolio of homes, along with Atlanta and LA,” she continued.

“Now having a home in NY, I can have get togethers with my family all the time!! I have accomplished so many things yet I still feel far from all the goals I want to accomplish. This is one dream I can cross off…..Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!”

But the home is actually located in the suburbs, in the Garden State — which is, by car, about 45 minutes from Midtown Manhattan and 25 minutes to Washington Heights, where she grew up.

Cardi B closed on the house on Sept. 17 for $5.85 million, property records show, and is spending more than $1 million on improvements, a source told The Post.

The main home offers nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms, with additional bedrooms located in the guesthouse.

Spanning a massive 13,000 square feet, the gated estate sits on nearly two acres of land and comes with every amenity imaginable.

The house features 10-foot-high ceilings with a movie theatre, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, a gym, a powder room and a wet bar.

Other amenities on the estate include a saltwater pool, a tennis court and a cabana with a full outdoor kitchen. The property is outfitted with a smart home security system as well.

The interior boasts an elevator, a chef’s kitchen with a breakfast area and a banquet-sized dining room, according to the listing. There is also an expansive great room, library and office — with six fireplaces between them.

The primary bedroom suite comes with dual bathrooms and walk-in closets.

The new home comes after the “WAP” rapper and her husband, Offset, welcomed their second child, a baby boy, in early September.

The couple also share a 3-year-old daughter, Kulture.

Meanwhile, Offset purchased an investment property in the Dominican Republic as a birthday present to his wife last month.
