Deranged Falcons fan gets shut down by Patriots’ Kyle Van Noy in postgame show

Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy had fun with Falcons fans who trolled him after New England’s 25-0 win over Atlanta on Thursday.

During a postgame interview with NFL Network, Van Noy was discussing the game when nearby fans began yelling obscenities.

Warning: strong language

When curse words were picked up by the network’s postgame show mics, he said, “Whoa whoa whoa, calm down.”

The two-time Super Bowl champ followed up with a personal dig at Falcons fans: “I’d be mad too, you go from a 28-3 loss.”

Patriots and Falcons fans remember the score from Super Bowl LI, when New England rallied back from a 25-point deficit to win their fifth championship.

Atlanta was up 28-3 at the end of the third quarter, before they blew the lead and watched Tom Brady and the Patriots offense come alive in the fourth. The final score of Super Bowl LI was 34-28, Patriots.

New England’s defense shined in Thursday’s win over the Falcons. Van Noy was particularly excellent during the game, racking up eight tackles, two sacks and a late pick-six off Atlanta backup Josh Rosen.

It was New England’s fifth straight victory led by rookie quarterback Mac Jones, who completed 22 of 26 for 207 yards.

This is New England’s longest winning streak since the 2019 season, when Tom Brady led them to an 8-0 start in his final year with the team.

The Patriots play host to the Titans in Week 12.
