Brute attacks, robs woman in NYC subway station

Police are hunting for a brute who savagely attacked a woman inside the elevator of Manhattan subway station before stealing her cash earlier this month.

The male suspect first screamed at the woman before grabbing and punching the woman at the 125th Street-Lexington Avenue station at about 10:25 p.m. Nov. 1, according to surveillance footage provided by the NYPD.

The man then yanked the woman to the ground and dragged her out of the elevator by her feet, the video shows.

Police said the assailant stole $50 from the victim and fled the scene.

The woman suffered face swelling, but refused medical attention.

The suspect was still being sought early Wednesday.
