Molly Pearson, 24, dies after being run over by box truck in Brooklyn

A 24-year-old woman died over the weekend after being run over by a box truck in Brooklyn last week, police said Wednesday.

Molly Pearson was riding a two-wheeled Lime moped around 11:15 a.m. Nov. 2 when she was hit by a white box truck at the intersection of Meeker and Skillman avenues in Williamsburg, according to the NYPD.

Both were heading eastbound on Meeker Avenue when the box truck attempted to turn onto Skillman and struck the scooter and ran over her, police said.

Pearson was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she died Saturday, according to cops.

The truck driver remained on the scene. No arrests have been made.

“We are devastated to learn of this tragic incident,” a spokesperson for Lime said. “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends during this extremely difficult time. We have been in contact with the NYPD and have offered to assist in their investigation however possible.”
