In a season in which they have combined to go 4-11, the Giants and Jets might have both added another loss at the trade deadline.
Neither team picked up draft picks at the deadline. They will tell you they held firm and just did not find the right matches. Reality will tell you that, barring unforeseen playoff runs, they did nothing to salvage their poor seasons.
The Giants stood pat and did not turn Evan Engram, Darius Slayton or any of their other pieces into draft chips.
