Mariah Carey has a new ‘Queen’ of a Christmas anthem

Mariah Carey has a new holiday classic this year, ditching her iconic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” to start fresh.

Titled “Fall In Love at Christmas,” the new holiday single features singer Khalid and gospel vocalist Kirk Franklin.

She teased the song on Twitter, sharing a sneak peek of the slower Christmas ballad, which is set to be released on Friday, Nov. 5.

In true Mariah Carey fashion, the track features her iconic high notes — and she was met with an outpouring of support from her legion of “Lambs.”

“Mariah I’m obsessed,” wrote one fan.

“Already in love with it,” tweeted another.

The news of the single dropped just as AppleTV+ announced a collaboration with the singer — a holiday event titled “Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues,” which will feature the first and only performance of the new single.

In addition, the holiday event will be followed up by “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special,” so viewers can revel in the Christmas spirit. The show, which will debut in December, was executive produced by Carey, 52, along with a slew of renowned team members, including director Joseph Kahn.

This is the singer’s favorite time of year, which she expressed in a viral video of her smashing pumpkins to her Christmas classic as soon as Halloween ended.

While it’s only November, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” reportedly is already trending in the top 200 charts on iTunes.
