Braves vs. Astros line, prediction: Bet on low-scoring Game 6

The Houston Astros need to win on Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park to force a winner-take-all Game 7 of the World Series, and will turn to rookie Luis Garcia on three days’ rest to keep the team’s season alive.

Garcia has been at his best in Houston. Including the regular season and playoffs, he has posted a 2.73 ERA with nine home runs allowed in 85 ²/₃ innings at home compared to a 4.57 ERA on the road with 12 home runs allowed in 82 ²/₃ innings.

The Braves counter with Max Fried, who has been roughed up in his last two starts with 11 runs allowed across 9 ²/₃ innings. However, in his 13 starts prior, he had a 1.47 ERA, and the Astros are 12-3 in his last 15 starts overall.

After scoring five runs or more in 12 of their first 13 games in October, the Astros have been held to two runs or fewer in two of their last three games.

With the Monday travel day, both bullpens will be rested for Game 6 and both teams will have all hands on deck to keep the opposing offense off the scoreboard.

The play: Braves-Astros, Under 8.
