Horrifying video captured the moment a vehicle driven by an unlicensed man working at a Brazil car dealership toppled onto a receptionist working about 20 feet below.
The 29-year-old contractor was driving back from a car wash Monday when he lost control of the vehicle on the second floor of the Volkswagen dealership in Sao Paulo, news.com.au reported.
The shocking security camera footage shows the white car falling upside down onto the round desk where the 19-year-old receptionist was sitting, according to a report on CNN Brazil cited by the news outlet.
The young woman suffered multiple fractures and was flown by chopper to a local hospital, according to the report. A 20-year-old worker also was hurt but the injuries were described as minor.
The driver, who suffered a fractured leg in the terrifying incident, reportedly faced charges of causing physical injuries while driving unlicensed or disqualified.
In a statement, the dealership said it “regrets” the accident and was “giving all the necessary support to the victims,” adding that the incident remains under investigation.
