An unhinged attacker broke a woman’s nose by pummeling her in the face as she waited for a train during the evening rush at a Queens subway station this week, police said.
The 47-year-old woman was on an E train platform at Queens Plaza minutes before 6 p.m. Tuesday when the attacker suddenly punched her repeatedly without saying a word, cops said.
The suspect fled on foot.
The victim, who suffered a broken nose and multiple bruises on her face, was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Queens in stable condition, cops said.
Police released surveillance footage of the suspect late Wednesday. He was still on the loose Thursday.
