Recreate Vanna White’s most popular ‘Wheel of Fortune’ dress looks for less

Spin to win. Or, shop till you drop, because “Wheel of Fortune” star Vanna White has 7,000 dress styles that are timeless and great all year round.

And, the best part — you don’t have to be flipping vowels on a big screen for you to rock White’s popular outfits.

White, 64, has been the “Wheel of Fortune” hostess for more than four decades — since 1980 — and has graced TVs across the nation with her confident high-heeled walk. And, by one estimate, she has walked more than 2,000 miles from one screen’s end to the next.

It’s revolutionary that a game show derived from Hangman became one of America’s most-watched forms of entertainment, securing three Emmy wins, a People’s Choice Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Aside from giving away millions of dollars after contestants guess to complete the phrase, “Wheel of Fortune” has become a household recurring tune-in. So much so, there’s a style inspiration page to browse some of Vanna White’s dresses on set.

What’s more, on White’s website, viewers can vote for their favorite styles, from Monday through Friday. It’s a form of game-show audience engagement that keeps everyone on their toes.

“For the first time ever, I wore the same dress twice after 7,000 dresses,” White told viewers on its YouTube channel. She had a 40-year streak that ended in September.

Vanna White is featured on Wheel of Fortune’s YouTube channel for her timeless looks throughout the years.

So, who’s responsible for styling White’s fabulous looks? Costume designer Kathi Nishimoto holds the regal title and dresses White after her fittings every few weeks.

Whether you have fond memories tuning in at 7:30 p.m. to see White sashay across the stage in stunning dresses or watch “Wheel of Fortune” re-runs during your nightly channel flipping, Vanna is the all-American woman parading some serious style inspo.

Ahead, find some of Vanan White’s “Wheel of Fortune” dresses, along with similar outfits to shop. Re-create the look for less, especially looks that have captured the hearts of viewers nationwide.

Look #1: Berry Cocktail Dress

White’s berry cocktail dress is off the shoulder with short ruffled sleeves. Whether you’re on the market for a new work dress or a fresh outfit for a family function, it’s a wardrobe staple, for sure.

This red La Femme Ruffled Off-Shoulder Cocktail Dress ($218) is similar to the show-spotted style, along with Lulus’ Season of Fun Magenta Off-the-Shoulder Skater Dress ($45, originally $54) for a more affordable option.

For black pumps, the Jessica Simpson Haneh Pump ($59.99) is a staple, while Vince Camuto’s Hamden Slingback Pumps ($99) are one of the comfiest shoes you’ll find.

Look #2: Glam Black Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are the more breezy version when going formal, and White’s glitter mesh jumpsuit with flared-out pants is a look to steal.

Windsor’s Effortless Elegance Long Sleeve Jumpsuit ($39.90) is a similar option with long sleeves and flowy pants. For a sexier alternative, consider this Petite Black Lace High-Neck Long Sleeve Jumpsuit ($32, originally $48) from PrettyLittleThing.

Look #3: Coral Shirt-Style Dress

We’re all about a bright pop of color and this coral is divine for the warmer months and even cooler months, paired with a neutral trench coat.

Lulus’ Joyful Red Orange Multi-Stripe Tie-Back Mini Dress ($58) is one of my favorite dresses in my closet and remains consistent with White’s color palette. For a less bold option, this Express Amalfi Blush Belted One Shoulder Ruffle Dress ($88) is comparable.

Complete the look with these Workin Pointy Toe Pumps ($89) from Nine West and Mabel 18K Gold & Coral Huggie Earrings ($48) from Baublebar — both similar to White’s.

Look #4: Black Evening Gown

White’s decked out for the holiday season on this episode of “Wheel of Fortune,” but elegant gowns aren’t limited to the chilly weather. Shop Aqua’s One-Shoulder Gown ($238) from Bloomingdale’s or Missord’s One-Shoulder Split Thigh Floor Length Dress ($36) from Shein, both timeless fashions for wedding guest season.

Look #5: Cobalt Blue Polka Dot Dress

Polka dot is the print of the century and we’re so here for it. Similar to White’s showstopper is Kentiuttd’s Polka Dot Dress ($16.99) from Walmart — budget-friendly and just as fashionable.

For a maxi option, this A-Line Short Sleeve Polka Dot Dress ($29.67, originally $74.16) from StyleWe hones that striking blue.

Complete the look with Azra’s True Navy Suede Pumps ($128) from Ann Taylor and Baublebar’s Drusy Drop Earrings ($36).
