The Washington Football team rebrand is almost finalized.
After ditching it’s controversial team name prior to the 2020 NFL season, Washington president Jason Wright said in a team video Monday that the organization has narrowed down its options for a new name to three possibilities.
“So the three that will go through are, [inaudible], [inaudible] and [inaudible],” Wright can be heard telling coach Ron Rivera and general manager Martin Mayhew, with the actual names bleeped out.
It appeared one name caught the attention of Rivera and Wright.
It’s unclear when the new name will be announced.
