Man beats NYC straphanger while spewing anti-gay slur: cops

A man pummeled a 45-year-old straphanger on a Manhattan train while spewing an anti-gay slur, cops say.

The victim was riding a southbound No. 2 train in Harlem about 2:15 p.m. Thursday when he accidentally bumped into the guy, cops said.

The suspect then displayed a blade before punching the victim multiple times in the face, police said.

During the attack, the victim said he believed the suspect called him a “f—-t,” cops said.

The suspect bolted at the 135th Street station and is shown in footage released by cops late Monday.

The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Morningside to be treated for a cut on his face, authorities said.

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
