A man trying to “calm” a squabble between two groups was one of two people stabbed in an early Saturday brawl in Manhattan, police said.
The bloodshed occurred at around 4 a.m. Saturday at Sixth Avenue and West 21st Street in Chelsea, authorities said.
One of the victims unsuccessfully tried to “calm the situation,” between two arguing groups, who then began fighting, cops said.
“During the fight, one man stabs both victims,” an NYPD spokesman said.
The suspects — one about 6-foot-1, the other 5-foot-7 and both wearing white shirts — fled in a black SUV, cops said.
Both victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, cops said.
