Pedicab driver killed in hit-and-run in NYC

A pedicab driver was killed in Midtown Manhattan after a Connecticut driver allegedly rammed into his vehicle, ran him over and fled the scene.

The deadly collision happened around 11:15 p.m. Friday, as the pedicab was transporting three female passengers on East 42 Street and Madison Avenue, police said.

As Ibrokhim Azizov was peddling the vehicle, he was rear-ended by a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, causing him to be ejected from the pedicab onto 42 Street, according to the NYPD.
