The Yankees didn’t stop at Joey Gallo.
The team acquired Cubs slugging first baseman Anthony Rizzo from the Cubs, The Post’s Joel Sherman reported.

Rizzo, 31, is hitting .249 with 14 home runs and 40 RBIs this season and adds another power lefty bat to the Yankees’ righty-dominated lineup.
The Yankees are sending two prospects to the Cubs for Rizzo — outfielder Kevin Alcantara and pitcher Alexander Vizcaino. Both are in Low-A ball. Vizcaino was the No. 9 prospect in the Yankees system, while Alcantara was No. 12.
The Cubs are picking up the remainder of Rizzo’s contract, which gives the Yankees a few million dollars to play with ahead of Friday’s MLB trade deadline.
Rizzo, a key piece of the Cubs’ 2016 World Series team, is a free agent after this season.
