The Post’s beat writers predict who the Knicks and Nets will take with their first round picks on Thursday night at the Barclays Center.
Knicks
Pick No. 19
Chris Duarte, SG-SF, Oregon
If the Jerry West Award winner gets to No. 19, Thibodeau will get a 24-year-old sniper capable of guarding three positions and help a rotation promptly. The 6-foot-6 Duarte averaged 17.1 points on 42.4 percent shooting from 3 and 53.2 percent overall. “He put up a [field-goal] percentage you usually see with a big man who posts up,’’ one scout said.
Pick No. 21
Miles McBride, PG, West Virginia
McBride was a high school quarterback and has impressed Thibodeau with his outside shooting and toughness in his Knicks workout. The Cincinnati product stands just 6-foot-2 ½ but has a good wingspan and defends with zeal. Look out Trae Young.

Nets
Pick No. 27
Day’Ron Sharpe, C, North Carolina
With Jeff Green and Blake Griffin both unrestricted free agents and DeAndre Jordan on the trade block, the 6-foot-11 Sharpe could provide competition for Nic Claxton. Still, the Nets are looking to move in the draft and may not stay at No. 27.
