The former girlfriend of the lovesick British Romeo who made waves around the globe for riding a jet ski across the Irish Sea to be with her has reportedly been slapped with a jail sentence for attacking another woman.
Mother of two Jessica Radcliffe, 31, was sentenced to eight months in the slammer after she and her pal Leanna Louise Bradley, 33, assaulted the woman in her home while her kids were upstairs on March 31, the Sun reported.
The two women then attacked a police officer while they were being arrested at the scene, according to the outlet.
Radcliffe admitted to assault causing actual bodily harm, assaulting a police officer and criminal damage.
Bradley also was sentenced to eight months in jail after pleading guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm, resisting arrest and two counts of property damage, the Sun reported.
“This was premeditated. The sole purpose of your journey was to carry out the attack. You forcibly entered a house where children were present,” Magistrate Michael Murley told the pair.
“The injuries caused were serious but it is fortunate they were not more serious,” he added.
The victim, who said she did not know Bradley but had previously had a dispute with Radcliffe, also was dragged up the stairs by her assailants.
Radcliff responded “No comment” when questioned by police, while Bradley admitted she had taken cocaine and been drinking.
The sentencing is the latest news to come from the foolhardy saga of Dale McLaughlan, 28, who embarked on a treacherous, 4.5-hour trip from Irvine, Scotland, to the Isle of Man to see Radcliffe in December.
The hopeless romantic roofer, who doesn’t know how to swim, ended up being thrown in jail for breaking coronavirus lockdown rules by entering the island without permission.
His brush with the law didn’t faze Radcliffe, who said she’d marry him if he popped the question.
But their relationship has apparently sunk since then — after McLaughlan reportedly decided to break up with her.
