Three wounded in two separate NYC shootings, cops say

Three people were hurt in two separate shootings across the Big Apple — including one triggered by a jealous ex-boyfriend,  police and sources said Saturday.

A 39-year-old woman was shot in the chest and a 40-year-old man was shot in the left shoulder at around 11:15 p.m. Friday in a building on Barnes Avenue in Wakefield in the Bronx, police said.

Police sources told The Post that the shooter, who ran off,  was the woman’s ex-boyfriend.

The victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx in stable condition.

Prior to being rushed into surgery, the wounded woman positively identified the gunman as her ex and told investigators he shot her, the sources said.

The wounded man told cops he went to the location to pick up his daughter, who was at her friend’s home in the building all day.

While the victims were talking, the ex-boyfriend “burst through the door and shot him,” the police sources said.

An NYPD spokesman did not immediately confirm that, saying only cops were looking for a man wearing a gray sweatshirt and a mask.

In Brooklyn, a man was shot in the right foot by an unknown assailant on Willoughby Avenue near Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 11:30 p.m. Friday, cops said.

The victim, 33, was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
