Steph and Ayesha Curry flip over Damion Lee and Sydel Curry-Lee’s baby news

The Currys are gearing up for a new addition to the family.

Steph Curry’s sister Sydel, who’s married to his Warriors teammate Damion Lee, is expecting her first child. The couple announced the good news in coordinated Instagram posts on June 16.

On Wednesday, a video showing the Warriors point guard and wife Ayesha learning about their soon-to-be niece or nephew went viral.

The Curry couple — who are parents to three little ones — freaked out when Ayesha opened a small box given to her by Sydel and Damion, containing the baby news.

Ayesha began screaming and ran around the living room where the couples were enjoying dinner together. Meanwhile, Steph jumped out of his seat and onto the furniture while pumping his fists in the air.

“Get the frig out of here,” Steph said before learning the news.

Ayesha and Steph Currey were very surprised by the announcement.

Ayesha added, “This is the best night ever!”

Sydel and Damion’s bundle of joy will arrive sometime in November 2021, according to their announcement. They tied the knot in 2018.

“Our God real. Baby Lee coming at you,” she wrote earlier this month alongside a pair of photos from her maternity shoot.

A few days before announcing the pregnancy news, Sydel opened up about her IVF journey in a separate post on Instagram, describing the experience as “one of the most difficult things” she’s ever had to do.
