A cat was killed inside of a Connecticut apartment by a bullet that was fired from outside the building by an unknown suspect on Sunday night, police said.
The shooting occurred outside of a building on West Main Street in Norwalk at about 11:15 p.m., according to police.
One of the bullets pierced the window of a residence and fatally struck the animal.
Witnesses told police they heard a vehicle peeling out shortly after the shots were fired, cops said.
No arrests have been made.
