Tom Brady loves Phil Mickelson sipping wine out of Wanamaker Trophy

Wine tastes a little different to Phil Mickelson after a big win.

The 50-year-old, who made golf history as the oldest PGA Championship winner last month, is still celebrating.

In honor of his wife Amy’s birthday, Mickelson posted an Instagram video of him breaking out the Wanamaker Trophy he won on May 23 — his sixth major win — opening a bottle of his favorite wine (Tor Kenward’s Black Magic, 2018) and sipping the cabernet sauvignon from the large silver cup.

And his good friend, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, approved.

“Nothing like it Champ!” Brady wrote under an Mickelson’s Instagram post.

The two will team up for “The Match” golf event on July 6, where they’ll take on disgruntled Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and golfer Bryson DeChambeau.

Mickelson admitted that his favorite wine tasted better than usual this time.

“The wine had an extra ingredient this time – just a dash of VICTORY,” he captioned his Instagram post.

“Tastes so good!”
