Giants strike deal with first-rounder Kadarius Toney before minicamp

The Giants reached a deal with first-round wide receiver Kadarius Toney on Thursday, ensuring all of their draft picks will be under contract before the team’s mandatory minicamp next week.

Toney and the Giants agreed to terms on a four-year, $13.7 million contract with a team option for a fifth year, according to a source. His signing bonus is $7.3 million. All rookie contracts are fully guaranteed, and the amount is slotted based on draft position.

Once Toney officially signs the contract, the Giants will have all six of their draft picks signed. The team has a mandatory three-day minicamp beginning Tuesday.

The Giants took Toney with the 20th pick overall out of Florida. They moved back to 20 from No. 11 in a trade with the Bears that gave them the Bears’ 2022 first-round pick in addition to other picks.
