Donald Trump to speak at Dallas CPAC in July

Former President Donald Trump will give a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas this July, it announced Thursday.

“President Donald Trump is joining us for #CPACTX to UnCancel America,” a tweet from the official CPAC account said.

The event is scheduled to take place July 9 through July 11 and will also include speeches from American Conservative Union Chair Matt Schlapp, former HUD Secretary Ben Carson and journalist Sara Carter.

Schlapp also tweeted about Trump’s appearance on Thursday.

“We are honored that President Donald Trump will end #CPACTX on a high note and remind us that freedom means never being silenced,” Schlapp said.

In one of his most high-profile speeches since leaving the White House, Trump spoke at CPAC in Orlando, Fla., in February and teased a possible 2024 run.

Referring to Democrats, he said, “I may even decide to beat them for a third time.”

Trump in May relocated his political and fundraising operations from Mar-a-Lago in Florida to his Bedminster, NJ, resort and golf course for the summer.

He continues to hold sway with elected Republicans and is expected to be front and center in party strategy whether he runs or not.

Trump is also planning a return to holding campaign-style rallies this summer.
