Video shows man get slugged, robbed on NYC sidewalk

Newly released police surveillance video shows a group of goons beating up and robbing a man on a Williamsburg sidewalk.

The confrontation started out as a verbal dispute between the 26-year-old victim and another man at about 12:45 p.m. on Graham Avenue near Varet Street on April 20, police said.

The suspect briefly left, but returned with four more men, cops said.

One of the suspects menaced the victim with a gun and another slugged him in the face, according to the video footage.

The victim tried to walk away after getting hit, but one of the suspects can be seen on the footage grabbing ahold of him.

The brutes eventually fled on foot southbound on Graham Avenue with the victim’s pink iPhone, according to cops.

The victim was hospitalized with cuts and bruises to his face, police said.
