Man ordered to pay $4 million to NJ girl he sexually assaulted in 2018

A convicted sex predator was ordered by a New Jersey judge to pay $4 million plus interest to a New Jersey girl he kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

Liam Heim, 24, was behind bars in South Carolina when New Jersey Superior Court Judge Yolanda Rodriguez handed down the ruling last week.

The victim was in seventh grade in 2018 when Heim took her from Collingswood, NJ to a Philadelphia hotel and assaulted her.

The convicted pedophile met the victim on a chatting app that she accessed from a school laptop.

The girl and her family sued the Collingswood School District and settled for more than $1 million in January.

The latest civil verdict was issued by default because Heim didn’t respond to court papers.
