Cameron Brate may have caught the Lombardi Trophy when Tom Brady heaved it across the water from one boat to another, but Chris Godwin wasn’t so lucky.
The Buccaneers wide receiver had his phone tumble into the water – thanks to his teammate Scotty Miller.
Thankfully, the star wide-out got a new one – after appealing to Verizon on his Instagram story. He posted a picture of his new iPhone, also on his story.
“Phone takes a dive into the river and 24 hours later, @verizon blesses me with a new one! I appreciate y’all! S/O to the [plug],” Godwin wrote.
