Accused Capitol rioter ID’d at airport after getting kicked off plane

An accused US Capitol rioter was busted after getting kicked off a Delta flight — and later being recognized by airport security from social media footage of the siege, court records show.

John Lolos was booted from the flight at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, on Jan. 8, two days after the Capitol attack, for repeatedly shouting “Trump 2020” on the plane, according to a federal complaint released last week.

An Airport Authority police officer then escorted Lolos to another gate so he could catch a later flight, the complaint said.

But during the 45-minute delay, the cop, identified only as Officer Braddock, stumbled on Lolos’ image while scrolling Instagram videos of the Capitol riot.

“During the video Lolos can be seen exiting the US Capitol doorway, wearing the same shirt he was wearing at the airport, and was waving a red ‘Trump 2020 Keep American Great’ flag hooked together with the United States flag,” the complaint said.

That’s when Braddock called Capitol Police, who arrested Lolos at the airport.

He was charged the next day with unlawfully entering or remaining on restricted property, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, according to the complaint, which was released on Friday.

Court records did not identify an attorney representing Lolos.

The FBI has arrested more than 100 alleged rioters in the Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol building, which left five people dead, including a police officer.
