Two killed, three wounded in latest NYC shootings

A teen and a 21-year-old man were fatally gunned down — and three others wounded in separate shootings late Monday and early Tuesday, authorities said.

The 16-year-old was blasted in the neck around 11:50 p.m. Monday at a house party on Webster Avenue in Norwood, cops said.

He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead more than two hours later.

Two other men, 22 and 19, were also shot and wounded outside an apartment in the same building, cops said.

The 19-year-old said he was visiting his girlfriend with a friend when a man opened fire on them as they approached her apartment, according to police sources.

The older friend was shot in the ankle and the 19-year-old was shot in the torso.

The wounded duo fled down the stairs with the suspect on their tail, the sources said.

That’s when the shooter encountered the 16-year-old in the stairwell of the building and fired at him, according to the sources. The teen’s name has not been released pending family notification.

Elsewhere, deadly gunfire broke out again around 1 a.m. Tuesday in front of a building on East 126th Street near Lexington Avenue in East Harlem, cops said.

Tyquan Hardnett, 21, and a 19-year-old man were firing at each other when Hardnett was struck in the left and right armpits, authorities said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

The 19-year-old, who was struck in the groin and right shoulder, walked to East 124th Street and Madison Avenue, where he called 911, police said. He was also taken to Harlem Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition and in police custody.

Hours later, a gunman approached a 27-year-old man as he sat inside a car on East 215th Street near Laconia Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx around 6:15 a.m., cops said.

He fired into the car, striking the victim in the chest.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators initially believed the shooter fled into a nearby residence, but cops did not find him inside, police said. He remained at large later Tuesday morning.

The motive for the violence was unclear, though cops believe both men may have known each other.
