Last-minute Christmas gift idea: a subscription to Disney+ or ESPN+

The best gift of all is time spent with loved ones, sitting around a fire and watching movies and television that bring the whole gang together.

Now, it’s never been easier to gift just that, as both Disney+ and ESPN+ are offering gift-able subscriptions to their platforms, and a bundle with both, adding in Hulu, too, to sweeten the deal.

Giving a subscription to the Disney streaming service is much easier, as they are now offering gift subscriptions on their website.

“A Disney+ gift subscription is an easy way to give one year of Disney+ to someone special. When you purchase the gift subscription for $79.99, you’ll be paying for their first year of Disney+. Gift subscriptions can only be redeemed by new Disney+ subscribers,” reads the Disney+ website.

Better yet, the subscription not only spans Disney movies and shows, but also includes content from Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic and other exclusives released on the platform, including music documentaries by Taylor Swift, Disney Pixar’s latest movie “Soul, and the live-action Mulan to name a few.

But what about sports, you ask? ESPN+, the streaming service for everything athletic, also offers a gift-able subscription. For $59.99, give an entire year of live MLB, Series A, FA Cup, UFC Fight Nights and PPV events, Grand Slam tennis and even college sports. For those that like the story of sports between games, enjoy exclusive documentaries from the award-winning 30 for 30 library and ESPN+ originals such as “Peyton’s Places” with Peyton Manning.

Should you come to realize the folks on your list are true streaming junkies and can’t decide between platforms, there’s a subscription for that as well, all wrapped up in a bundle for Christmas. The Disney Bundle includes ESPN+ in addition to Disney+ and Hulu too. The package of three with ads costs $13.99 per month and the no-ad version of the deal is just $19.99 per month for hours and hours of uninterrupted content.
