Seton Hall’s COVID-19 quarantine coming to an end

Seton Hall is expecting to come out of quarantine on Monday and begin workouts with the hope of kicking off its season Friday at Louisville, a source told The Post.

Due to multiple positive COVID-19 tests, Seton Hall went into a 14-day pause on Nov. 9 in accordance with NCAA guidelines. On Monday, the team will have individual workouts with two players at a time. During those 14 days, players could only work out on their own. The entire team, the source said, will not come out of quarantine Monday. It is uncertain when the Pirates will be able to have a full practice and how many players will remain in quarantine.

More than 30 Division I basketball teams are in a pause because of positive coronavirus tests with the season slated to begin on Wednesday. That group includes Florida, Syracuse and Iona. Seton Hall’s scheduled opener against Winthrop at the Louisville multi-team event has already been canceled.
