Pregnant NJ woman identified her ‘baby’s father’ as her killer before dying

A pregnant woman from New Jersey who was fatally shot last week identified the “baby’s father” as her killer moments before she died, a report said.

“It was my baby’s father,” Remy Lee, 31, managed to tell first responders, according to a police affidavit obtained by Northjersey.com.

Lee, who was eight months pregnant, was shot last Thursday after parking outside her Paterson apartment complex. She died after delivering her baby at the hospital.

In the moments after the shooting, Lee also named the suspected shooter as “Quay” to those who came to her aid, a neighbor told authorities, according to the affidavit.

On Saturday, Donqua Thomas, 30 — the father of Lee’s newborn — surrendered to police. Thomas, according to the affidavit, is also known as “Quay.”

Thomas waited in Lee’s parking lot for nearly three hours before allegedly shooting her once she arrived, the affidavit says.

Lee and Thomas had been estranged, according to officials who spoke to the victim’s mother.
