Titans-Steelers COVID-19 scramble could mean Monday Night Football doubleheader

The Titans-Steelers game next week, which was postponed Wednesday due to positive coronavirus tests within the Tennessee organization, is expected to be broadcast nationally on CBS, sources told The Post.

If played Monday, the game in Tennessee would start at 5 p.m. and lead into ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Falcons and Packers at 8 p.m. If it is on Tuesday, it would be at either 6 or 7 p.m.

Kevin Harlan and Trent Green are scheduled to call the game.

The NFL said Wednesday the game, initially scheduled for Sunday afternoon, would take place Monday or Tuesday after it was announced that four Titans players and five other team personnel contracted the virus, marking the league’s first COVID-19 outbreak.

No other teams so far, including the Titans’ previous opponent, the Minnesota Vikings, have recorded positive tests since the Titans announcement.
