Annie Leibovitz’s old Central Park pad hits market for $3M

This Fifth Avenue apartment, with picture-perfect Central Park views, was once owned by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The spacious four-bedroom, 3½-bathroom home, located at 1255 Fifth Ave. on the stretch called Museum Mile because of its many cultural institutions, is about to hit the market for $2.99 million.

At 3,042 square feet, the third-floor condo (which has grown in size since Leibovitz lived there thanks to the combination of adjacent apartments by later owners) features a living room with cathedral-style beamed ceilings that reach 14 feet.

The residence also has its own private terrace.

The eight-story building, which dates to 1925 and is located between East 107th and East 108th streets, comes with a common roof terrace, a gym, bike storage and laundry on every floor.

The seller, Gil Sidi, is moving back to his native Israel.

He moved into the apartment from downtown on Sept. 10, 2001, and said the space always felt “safe” and peaceful during the heart-wrenching times that followed 9/11.
