NYPD officer busted for allegedly assaulting girlfriend

An NYPD cop was busted late Monday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, according to cops.

Eduardo Vite, 53, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. in his Brooklyn home and charged with menacing, assault and criminal mischief, police said.

He was charged in connection with a domestic incident involving his gal pal, police said — but authorities could not provide any other details.

Vite, who joined the force in June 1995, is assigned to the 25th Precinct, which covers the northern portion of East Harlem.

He had not yet been arraigned by Tuesday afternoon.
