Brad Parscale was drunk, had loaded gun when Florida police arrived at home

Brad Parscale was drunk when cops showed up at his Florida home for a suicide prevention call — where the former Trump campaign manager’s wife told police he hit her and had loaded a gun during a heated argument, according to news reports.

Parscale — who works remotely from Florida as the campaign’s digital director — barricaded himself in the home on Sunday afternoon.

A beer-clutching Parscale, 44, was finally coaxed out, at which point a SWAT team officer tackled him to the ground and took him into custody for psychiatric evaluation, the Miami Herald reported.

Police first responded to the $2.4 million home in Seven Isles shortly after 3:30 p.m. when a neighbor called 911 and told cops that Parscale and his wife, Candice, had argued and that she fled the house after her husband loaded one of 10 guns police found in the home, the outlet said.

Candice Parscale ran screaming from the house clad only in a bikini and was later pictured wrapped in a white towel while she spoke to police, according to the Daily Mail.

She was also seen with her head on a stranger’s lap, sobbing uncontrollably, the outlet reported.

“While speaking with Candice Parscale I noticed several large-sized contusions on both of her arms, her cheek, and forehead,” Fort Lauderdale officer Steven Smith wrote in a report, the Herald said. “When I asked how she received the bruising, Candice Parsdale stated that Brad Parscale hit her.”

Candice Parscale told police the bruises were from several days earlier, but that he smacked a phone out of her hand on Sunday when she tried to call his father. She told police her husband suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder.

As many as 20 police cars and boats descended on the waterfront home.

Police said they called Brad Parscale while he was barricaded in the house and found that “Bradley’s speech was slurred as though he was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and he seemed to be crying,” the Sun-Sentinel reported.

Parscale was taken to a local hospital for psychiatric evaluation under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows police to detain anyone who may pose a threat to themselves.

Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh said in an email to The Post on Monday that, “our thoughts are with Brad and his family as we wait for all the facts to emerge.”

He would not answer questions about whether Parscale will remain ont he campaign.

In a statement Sunday, campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh said Parscale is “a member of our family” and has the campaign’s support.

Parscale served as Trump’s campaign manager until mid-July when he was demoted and replaced by Bill Stepien.

According to the Daily Mail, the demotion threw Parscale into a financial crisis, threatening the couple’s ritzy lifestyle.

“Brad has tons of bills since his lifestyle picked up, and he sees the gravy train coming to an end,” one source told the outlet.

The Parscales have at least $300,000 worth of luxury vehicles, including a 2017 Ferrari, and own three condos in Fort Lauderdale, the Mail said.
