Reds vs. Tigers prediction: Trevor Bauer will stymie Detroit

NBA is back! Lakers taking on the Clippers who will be without Lou Williams. Lou left the Disney “bubble” to have lunch at a strip club and will miss the first two games. Why? Because sometimes you just need that little extra something to spice your burger and fries.

Tigers have shown some fight early on. How long before they become toothless again? Reds are in Motown for the weekend. Cincy’s Trevor Bauer throws against Detroit’s Spencer Turnbull, a rematch from last Sunday. Both pitched well, each getting a no-decision in a game won by the Tigers 3-2. Similar lines saw Bauer allow onee run, two hits over
6 ¹/₃ innings with 13 K’s. Turnbull permitted one run, three hits over five innings while fanning eight. Consider this though. Turnbull hasn’t won a game since May 2019, a year he finished 3-17. His winless streak is at 19! Taking the fireballing Bauer and the Reds for 20 units.

Christian Vazquez took Steven Matz deep twice and the Red Sox beat the Mets 4-2. Mets bats were as silent as the cardboard fans. Loss leaves us in negative territory at -55 clendenons
