A man strolling through Prospect Park with a date was stabbed in the chest early Thursday in what police described as a random attack.
The 37-year-old victim was walking with his 35-year-old date near the ice skating rink around 2:30 a.m. when a stranger suddenly approached, brandished a knife and stabbed him, cops said.
No words were exchanged between the man and his attacker, who fled the scene, cops said.
The victim was rushed to the Kings County Hospital Center in serious but stable condition.
Cops are looking for a bald man between 25 and 35 years old, wearing all dark clothing.
