A visit from man’s best friend isn’t a bad way to get prepared for training camp.
Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo posted a series of photos to Instagram of her new pooch, named Oliver Sprinkles, and his journey to officially meet his new ‘dad,’ Panthers running back (and her boyfriend) Christian McCaffrey.
“Oliver’s redeye diary and meeting his dad for the first time,” Culpo wrote Friday.
Culpo, 28, welcomed the pup into the family earlier this month and created an Instagram account for him. It already has over 7,500 followers.
NFL training camps are slated to open July 28, while rookies, quarterbacks and injured players reported this week. The Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans will report to camp on July 25 because they will play in the kickoff game on Sept. 10.
McCaffrey, the Panthers’ eighth-overall pick out of Stanford in 2017, is coming off his first Pro Bowl season last year. The 24-year-old recorded career highs in total yards (2,392) and rushing touchdowns (15).
