New Jersey sexual assault suspect caught on video fleeing scene

Cameras caught a man fleeing after sexually assaulting a woman on a New Jersey street, police said.

The shirtless suspect, wearing dark blue shorts and a face mask, allegedly approached a 20-year-old woman from behind, pulled down her shirt and grabbed her breast at about 8 a.m. on July 2 as she walked on Main Avenue, near Hadley Avenue, in Clifton, NJ.com reported.

The Clifton Police Department on Tuesday released the footage of the suspect fleeing the scene on foot, asking for the public’s help identifying the man. The suspect did not know the victim, according to the cops.

The woman was not physically injured during the assault, police said.
