“Lightning” has struck Usain Bolt.
On Tuesday, the 33-year-old Olympian — regarded as the world’s greatest sprinter — introduced the masses to his baby girl, Olympia Lightning Bolt, whom he shares with lady love Kasi Bennett.
“Now we have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt,” Bolt posted to Instagram. “I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family.”
Proud “Girl Dad” Bolt also celebrated Bennett on her birthday, posting, “I want nothing but happiness for u and will continue to doing my best keeping a smile on ur face.”
The eight-time Olympic medalist, who holds the world records in the 100 meters, 200 meters and the 4×100 meter relays, revealed in March that he and Bennett were expecting a baby girl, “Princess Bolt.” The couple’s baby girl arrived in May.
Of Greek origin, Olympia means the “Mountain Of The Gods,” according to BabyNames.com.
In addition to Bolt, Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian used Olympia as daughter Alexis’ middle name.
