Huge dead iguana found in freezer of gross Florida pizzeria

That wasn’t well thawed out.

A pizza joint in West Palm Beach, Fla., was temporarily shuttered last week after state inspectors found an 80-pound iguana stashed in the freezer, according to a report.

The dead reptile had been gifted to the owner of Pizza Mambo — and was being stored as a future snack in a separate freezer away from the restaurant’s food, an employee told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

The pizza shop immediately trashed the creature when they were notified about the violation, according to the worker.

In addition to the iguana problem, the pizza joint was hit with 26 other violations, including for rodent droppings and dead roaches, according to the report.

The restaurant, whose license expired Dec. 1, was also found to have food with “mold-like growth,” the outlet reported.
