Video surfaces of Sam Darnold-led Jets workout in Florida

This is what June football looks like — easy completions with no defense in sight — but starved Jets fans will take it.

Video surfaced Saturday of the workouts for Jets offensive skill players organized by quarterback Sam Darnold at Bommarito Performance Systems in the Miami area.

Among the many Jets in attendance were running backs Le’Veon Bell and Frank Gore, and wide receivers Denzel Mims, Braxton Berrios and Breshad Perriman.

Gore, Mims and Perriman are all first-year Jets and their attendance is especially important as a way to begin forming route-running chemistry with Darnold. OTAs were stripped down to virtual classroom learning and minicamp was cancelled due to the coronavirus restrictions.
