Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s son arrested for stabbing California neighbor

The son of NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was arrested in California this week after he allegedly stabbed his neighbor multiple times during a fight, according to Orange County officials.

Adam Abdul-Jabbar, who appeared on “Celebrity Family Feud” in 2017 with his Hall of Fame father, was taken into custody in San Clemente without incident on Tuesday.

He was released Wednesday after posting $25,000 bail, officials said.

The neighbor was able to transport himself to a hospital for treatment of multiple non-life-threatening injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. He is expected to survive.

Adam, 28, was booked on one count of suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to records first obtained by TMZ Sports.

Officers had responded to a call of a stabbing at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, sheriff’s spokeswoman Carrie Braun said.

“Apparently some neighbor dispute had occurred,” she said, adding “the suspect, who is the neighbor of the victim, was arrested without incident.”

An investigation is ongoing, officials said.

A booking sheet obtained by TMZ Sports indicates that Adam Abdul-Jabbar stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 180 pounds.

The sheet also lists his occupation as “GameStop,” the consumer electronics retailer.

He is the youngest of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s five children.

Adam Abdul-Jabbar could not immediately be reached for comment.

Reps for his father, who played 20 seasons in the NBA before retiring in 1989 and is still the league’s leading scorer, did not respond to requests for comment.
