Ghislaine Maxwell wants to keep court docs about her sex life sealed

Ghislaine Maxwell – a longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein – is fighting to keep sealed court documents about her sex life under wraps, according to a new filing.

The secret documents relate to a seven-hour, 418-page deposition Maxwell gave as part of a now-settled defamation lawsuit filed against her in 2015 by Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

“The subject matter … is extremely personal, confidential and subject to considerable abuse by the media,” Maxwell’s lawyer Jeffrey Pagliuca wrote in a Wednesday filing in Manhattan federal court.

“Ms. Maxwell was the defendant in this defamation action,” he added. “She did not inject her personal life into this case and was deposed under a court-ordered guarantee that her testimony would remain confidential. She relied on that order and has a strong expectation of continued confidentiality.”

Other sealed documents in question include a “flight log summary chart” containing numerous names and police reports from Palm Beach County, according to the filing.

Pagliuca also argues that unsealing the documents could impact ongoing investigations into Epstein’s alleged accomplices and “may inappropriately influence potential witnesses or alleged victims.”

Maxwell has been long accused of scouting young girls for Epstein, the convicted pedophile who hanged himself in his Manhattan jail cell in August.

Giuffre has been one of Epstein’s most vocal accusers. She has said the dead financier sexually abused her between 2000 and 2002 and has also claimed she had sex with Prince Andrew, one of Epstein’s close pals. The British royal has vehemently denied her accusations.

Epstein died weeks after he was charged with sex-trafficking minor girls. No one else has been charged.

Maxwell, however, has been named a co-defendant in several civil lawsuits brought by alleged Epstein victims.

The potential release of sealed documents in the Giuffre-Maxwell lawsuit has been an issue before, with John Does in the case fighting to keep their identities secret.

Epstein’s social circle included celebrities, politicians and other wealthy men.
