Baker Mayfield isn’t the only NFL star embracing the boat life this offseason.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and girlfriend Brittany Matthews recently enjoyed a cozy boat ride, with Matthews sharing a pair of photos from their adventure Wednesday on Instagram.
“You💕💕,” Matthews captioned the shots of the couple lounging and sipping beverages in their swimwear.
Matthews, who celebrated her eight-year anniversary with Mahomes, 24, in March, has been keeping fans up to date on their quarantine activities, including at-home workouts and viral challenges.
Additionally, Matthews and Mahomes have used their social media platforms to champion greater causes, showing their support for Black Lives Matter in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
Earlier this month, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback joined several NFL players, including Jamal Adams, Saquon Barkley, and Odell Beckham Jr., in a video asking the league to listen to its players in defense of black lives.
Mahomes shared the clip with his 3.4 million Instagram followers, posting: “#StrongerTogether.”
