A man allegedly drove his car into a police barricade in Seattle and smashed into a crowd of protesters before exiting the vehicle while brandishing a firearm on Sunday, cops said.

He also reportedly shot a 27-year-old man, who was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

The driver directed his car toward a group of protesters in the city’s Capitol Hill district before plowing into the black barricade and storming out of the driver’s seat with the gun, according to the Seattle Times.

The suspect — wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black Nike Cap — can be seen on video exiting his car while holding the weapon in his hand.

“He exited his car and flashed a gun. The police say they have the man in custody and have the gun,” Chase Burns wrote on Twitter.

“They asked for anybody who is hurt to come to the barricade. A man was on the ground on 11th and Pine. He’s up now.”

A number of other people were reportedly injured at the scene.
