Man attempts to rape woman on Brooklyn F train

A perv attempted to rape a woman on a Brooklyn train in a midday attack over the weekend, cops said.

The 25-year-old victim boarded a southbound F train at Jay Street Saturday afternoon and was standing in the middle of the car when she spotted a man watching her as he removed his belt and placed it in his jacket, according to police sources.

When the train reached the 15th Street-Prospect Park station around 1:10 p.m., the creep approached the woman and punched her in the chest, knocking her off her feet and onto the bench, cops said.

He then got on top of her and lifted up her skirt, authorities said.

A witness alerted the conductor, who entered the car and yelled at the man, prompting him to run into the next car.

When the train doors opened, the suspect bolted out of the station, cops said.

The victim refused medical attention for minor injuries, cops said.

Her attacker remained at large Monday.

Cops say he’s between 25 and 30 years old, around 5 feet 4 and 140 pounds, with short straight hair. He was last seen wearing a black Florida Marlins baseball cap, a black and green hooded windbreaker, a tan belt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
