Colin Cowherd awkwardly doesn’t credit Rich Eisen for viral Brett Favre interview

Brett Favre made waves Wednesday when he went on the “Rich Eisen Show” and predicted an “ugly” ending between Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

According to Colin Cowherd, the interview happened “on a radio show, TV show.” That’s as far as Cowherd went in giving Eisen credit for the Favre interview, which he promptly played Thursday on his own show, “The Herd With Colin Cowherd.”

The missing credit didn’t get past @BackAftaThis, which brought it to attention with a tweet.

“He never bothered to credit Rich,” @BackAftaThis wrote. “This has nothing to do with the two shows competing head-to-head. Colin simply missed this minor detail during his 8-hour show prep.”

“We appreciate those who took the time to properly courtesy us yesterday and today,” Chris Brockman, a member of Eisen’s show, replied from the show’s official Twitter account.

On Eisen’s show, which airs on Sirius XM and NBC Sports Network, Favre said he had talked to Rodgers, who was “surprised” the Packers drafted his potential successor, Jordan Love with their first-round pick in last Thursday’s NFL draft.

“I think Aaron will finish somewhere else,” Favre told Eisen. “That’s my gut.”

“I guarantee you it’s got the wheels turning in Aaron’s mind, which, if that’s the case, then that means there’s a chip on his shoulder towards the organization that otherwise was not there. So all he needs is a reason other than this reason to expedite that.”
