Body found stuffed in taped-up freezer in Harlem apartment

A decomposing body was found stuffed in a freezer in a Harlem apartment Thursday afternoon, The Post has learned.

The corpse was discovered just after 1 p.m. when the son of an apartment owner came to wrap up her affairs following her recent death, police sources said.

When he walked into the apartment on Broadway, near West 150th Street, he found the body in a stand-alone freezer, which was duct-taped shut and sitting in the living room, according to sources.

“Can’t tell if it’s a man or a woman or black or white,” a police source said.

The NYPD confirmed a person was found dead at the address and that the city’s Medical Examiner would rule how the person died.
